The Female Gaze
Elizabeth Brownsword and Lois Tierney
20 -29th Jan 2017
Venue: Road Works Gallery
Female Gaze is an exhibition aimed at questioning and challenging perceptions of contemporary feminism and femininity.
The exhibition will act as a tool to challenge stereotypes and create a constructive debate on feminism in 2017.
In doing this, we plan to engage with the wider public. During the exhibition, we plan to document the public’s reactions and let them have their say. Elizabeth Brownsword and Lois Tierney will be displaying a series of prints and drawings that challenge contemporary culture by exploring the female gaze.
