Soup Collective

Road Studios are pleased to welcome the Soup Collective who are to showcase a stunning array of postcards at Roadworks Gallery

4th – 6th March 2015
Venue: Road Works Gallery

The pop-up exhibition will consist of postcard size works from over 20 artists. The aim of the Postcard Auction night is to raise funds for the exciting international exhibition programme where they will be exhibiting work in Athens, Greece in May this year.

The artists that will be exhibiting will be Lilly Nelson, Wendy Williams, Keiron Finnetty, Catherine Harrison, Joanne McClellan, Sumuyya Khader, Georgia Mae Doughty, Jackie Kerr, Ruth Morrissey, Colette Lilly, Michael Borkowsky, Tiffany and Lee Kendal, May Chong, Janet Wilkinson, Ruth Edwards, Alicia Talikowska, Elizabeth Wheeler, Lewis Jones, Shauna Worrell, Maria Christoforatou, Hilal Ozelci, Maria Jj Juchnowska, Pawel Jaskulski, Andrew Wyatt, Sophie Nelson, Jason Richardson, Sufea Mohamad Noor, John Hughes and guests.

ROAD Studio’s  to involve themselves in an external exhibition that wholeheartedly, but it’s understandable as in the three years Road Studios have been in the Crown Building they haven’t hosted work by external artists or organisations once, until now. Perhaps this is an exploration into a more outward approach for the studios, but either way it’s an opportunity to see how others respond to their space, and these interviews provide an insight, from an outsider’s view, into how the insiders make sense of it.
