Let’s face it, not many of us are! But the good news is that at ROAD Studios, we are offering you the chance to become an art collector in your own right. Following on from the annual social media event “Inktober”, artists across various disciplines are offering their artwork from the challenge for auction on Wednesday 29th November 2017. Missed out on the chance to own some original artwork? The good news is, following the opening of ROAD Studios’ Inktober Exhibition and Auction, we are extending the sale until 29th November, giving you more opportunities to bid on a wealth of one-off illustrations. Following the annual social media event “Inktober”, started in 2009 by concept artist and illustrator Jake Parker, ROAD artists have produced a piece of work in ink for each day of October following the official prompt list. Among the artists featured are: Becky Adams, Caroline Corby, Hannah Ng, Jay Hampton, Kirsten Hawkins, Kitty Chew, Laura Earwalker, Leslie Salomé, Lois Tierney, Louisa Challinor, Robert Flynn, Sasha Spyrou, Tomo and Tony Knox. The live auction sale comprising a selection of showcase pieces has been moved to Wednesday 29th November, 6-9pm, giving visitors more chances to choose their favourite work. The live bidding starts at 7pm.
