Road Studios Box Set continues with the second exhibition of the Liverpool Biennial season with Episode 2: Remnants.
Specially selected by the Road curatorial team, we welcome three artists to the Roadworks space who unbeknownst to them, have created a narrative thread that spans many centuries of our history.
Our story of time travel begins with Sophia Kokinis who takes us right back to our pagan roots, showcasing an elaborate array of textiles that represent ritualistic dress. Mark Wigan then carries the baton, leading us on a voyage through the Victorian sea-faring era which anchors in to the history of this city. Then Chris Stokes’ quirky portrayal of personal photographic history demands we adjust our focus to engage our episodic memory.
Join these artists in their journey back in time from 5th until 7th August. Be ready for take-off between the hours of 6-9pm on Friday or 12-5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Access to Road Studios is via stairs only.
Opening hours 12-5pm unless indicated otherwise
